4. Does 633X-AD support 5.1 channel Audio?

The 633X-AD provides six channel 6 analog audio channels.

5.1 audio refers to the Dolby AC-3 encoding scheme found on e.g. DVD disks.

The 633X-AD doesn't have any build-in 5.1 audio decoder and relies on software such as PowerDVD and WinDVD for the decoding of the DVD audio stream.

This software can map the decoded audio to the 6 channel audio channels (Front, Center and Back) for a surround speaker setup.
